FAQ
Questions About Our Services?

248-778-7552 Request a VisitWho is mobile wound care for?
Mobile wound care is ideal for anyone who finds it hard to get to a clinic, including older adults, people with limited mobility, patients recovering from surgery and residents of nursing homes or assisted living communities. If traveling to appointments is difficult, we bring the care to you.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
You don't need a referral to contact us. Some insurance plans require a doctor's order before treatment begins. If yours does, we'll coordinate with your doctor for you.
Is wound care at home covered by insurance?
We accept Medicare, Medicaid and most major insurance plans. Coverage depends on your specific plan, so our team verifies your benefits before your first visit and explains what to expect.
How often will a clinician visit me?
It depends on the type of wound and how it's healing. Your clinician sets a visit schedule in your care plan and adjusts it as the wound improves. Between visits, we can also check in by phone or video.
How do I know if my wound needs specialist care?
Contact us if a wound hasn't improved in a few weeks, keeps reopening, or shows signs of infection such as increasing redness, swelling, warmth, drainage or odor. People with diabetes or poor circulation should have any foot or leg wound checked early.
If you have a high fever, spreading redness or feel very unwell, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Do you work with nursing homes and assisted living communities?
Yes. We provide on-site wound care for residents and work alongside facility staff with clear treatment plans, documentation and updates, reducing the need for outside appointments and transport.
Which areas do you serve?
We're based in Troy, Michigan, and serve patients across Metro Detroit. Not sure if we cover your area? Call us at 248-778-7552 and we'll let you know.
